About Us
The Dorset Bengali Association
was established in 2007 to meet
the needs of the Bengali women
and children in Dorset. There
is a significant Bangladeshi
community in the area but no
focal point for the women to get
together.
Our Aims are to:
- Advance Education, Health &
Recreation in order to improve
life conditions.
- Raise awareness of
opportunities & services
available for women & children.
- Provide an accessible
environment for women to come
together, share experiences &
learn new skills without feeling
intimidated or harassed.
- Create a sense of belonging
& becoming more aware of the
rich heritage by celebrating
cultural days
